A St. Clair County substance abuse counselor was killed in an early-morning house fire Wednesday in St. Clair Township, according to police and an addiction treatment center.
The St. Clair County Sheriff’s Office identified the victim as 47-year-old Laura Bramlett. Two other females — ages 16 and 74 — were able to escape the burning structure.
