With Beatport Insider, we look at key stats from the Beatport store each month. This time, we look at the artists, tracks, and labels that dominated our Drum & Bass genre sales and streaming charts over the past six months.
Sub Focus brings out the big guns for their remix of ACRAZE’s smash hit “Do It To It,” and it pays off, bringing it to Beatport’s overall top drum & bass tune, followed by Hedex’s remix of SEVEK’s “Move Your Body” and Break’s remix of the classic Total Science tune, “Squash.”
Hospital Records and Critical Music hold fast as the genre’s best-selling labels, followed close behind by Andy C’s RAM Records and Jungle Cakes. Sub Focus takes home the accolade of our D&B page’s top-selling artists from the past six months, followed closely by Deekline, Break, and Bou.
Hong Kong’s drum & bass maven gyrofield‘s recent output has also been magnificent, making her the genre’s top-trending artist, followed by The Sauce and Chimpo.
