PADUCAH, Ky. (KFVS) – Lifeline Recovery Center of Paducah will receive $422,120 from Kentucky’s Opioid Abatement Advisory Commission over the next two years.
Lifeline Recovery Center is a Christ-centered long-term residential recovery program.
The grant will benefit the men’s campus in Ballard County and the women’s campus in McCracken County.
Attorney General Russell Coleman announced the award on Thursday, April 23. The award falls in the treatment/recovery category.
Funding comes from the state’s share of more than $1 billion in settlements with corporations involved in the opioid crisis.
Executive Director Ashley Miller expressed her gratitude.
“This is such a big win for Lifeline, for everyone who benefits from our services to get sober so they can return to their families, their jobs, and their communities,” Miller said.
The grant will fund Lifeline’s workforce development program, which has a 100% job placement rate, along with expanded staffing, women’s campus furnishings and operational expenses.
