Recovery efforts underway after vehicle hydroplanes into Shoal Creek – WAAY 31 News

The wreck happened on U.S. 72 at Shoal Creek Wednesday morning.
Authorities say one person is dead after a vehicle hydroplaned into Shoal Creek in Lauderdale County Wednesday morning. 
According to Lauderdale County Sheriff Joe Hamilton, emergency crews responded shortly after 7 a.m. to U.S. 72 at Shoal Creek in Killen after a vehicle hydroplaned off the roadway in the westbound lane and went into the river. 
Lauderdale County Coroner Kim Jones identified the man killed in the wreck as 25-year-old Jeffrey Culbreath, of Killen.
Hamilton says Killen Police, Killen Fire and Rescue, Florence Dive Team, and ALEA conducted a recovery operation after the wreck.
