A Multi-Agency Resource Center event for residents affected by recent storms in Stephenson County has been rescheduled for April 30.
The event will be held from 2 to 7 p.m. at the Lena Community Center, 497 Lions Drive, according to a community announcement.
The event, organized by the American Red Cross of the Quad Cities and Northwest Illinois, in collaboration with local, state and nonprofit partners, is intended to support residents impacted by severe weather and a tornado in the area.
The announcement said the center is a one-stop location where residents can access a variety of services and resources to help plan their next steps toward recovery.
Available services may include social services, senior support, mental health services, meetings with the Department of Insurance, information on SNAP benefit replacement, learning about potential consumer scams, obtaining assistance from various agencies, learning about cleanup assistance and receiving emergency supplies such as totes, trash bags and gloves.
Residents affected by the storm are encouraged to attend and connect with the support they need during this challenging time, according to the announcement.
